Management and Finance Overview
General Information
Reston Association’s Board of Directors and CEO work together to fulfill a key purpose of the association to meet the needs of the members by assessing, collecting, and disbursing the assessments and charges authorized by the deed to operate the association.
As part of its management oversight responsibility, the board also makes sure that current and proposed programs are congruent with both the association’s mission and its budgetary resources. In order to accomplish their management tasks, board members have to find a sensible balance among the quality of programs and services offered, their cost effectiveness, and staff resources to deliver them.
