Recreation Facilities Closed

Due to state mandates and public health guidelines related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Reston Association has closed all tennis courts, tot lots, basketball courts and pavilions. Parklands and ballfields remain open, but social distancing protocols are encouraged in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

Safety Precautions for BOD Meeting

Due to the current pandemic and the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Gov. Ralph Northam, Reston Association is suggesting that members do not physically attend the March 19 meeting of the Board of Directors. This is expected to be an abbreviated meeting focusing only on the conflict of interest policy. Two directors will be physically present in the room during this meeting, with the remainder of the board participating via conference call. RA members are encouraged to live-stream the meeting.

Phones Down After Business Hours

Phone service at all Reston Association offices, including the Nature House and Central Services Facility, will be down Friday, Feb. 21 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. RA is migrating phone services to Verizon. Voicemail will be unavailable during these estimated time periods.
