Facilities Overview

Reston Association's Glade Room, Brown's Chapel and Walker Nature Center are frequently used for group functions, including scout meetings, wedding ceremonies, birthday parties and a variety of classes. The Lake House is Reston Association's newest community building on Lake Newport and is available to rent for a variety of private and company functions. The Conference Center is ideal for corporate events, community meetings, workshops and training programs.
RA picnic pavilions also provide an ideal backdrop for private parties or group gatherings, where attendees can be surrounded by the beauty Reston has to offer.

Conference Rooms
The Reston Association Conference Center is located at 12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston. It is ideal for corporate events, community meetings, workshops and training programs. Technical amenities include:
70-inch LCD TV with laptop projection capability
Wireless connectivity in each room
Ceiling-mounted projectors and projection screens
Wireless microphone capability in tabletop, handheld or clip-on/lavaliere-style
Teleconferencing capability
Per hour, one room (up to 35 people); two rooms (36-65 people); three rooms (66-170 people).

The Lake House
The Lake House is Reston Association's newest community building. The facility offers access to the deck overlooking Lake Newport, as well as a natural light-filled setting with a fireplace. The entire facility can also be rented for up to 145 guests. The Lake House is located at 11450 Baron Cameron Ave., Reston, VA.

Brown’s Chapel
A very cozy and affordable facility close to home. Its tall ceilings provide excellent acoustics and its park-like grounds offer a lovely setting. The facility has chairs to seat 50 people, three tables, restroom facilities, heating, air conditioning and ample parking.
Rental Fees: ($100 security deposit and $20 key deposit required). Available for members and non-members year-round.
Members: $60/hour
Non-members: $85/hour
Swimming Pools
All RA pools are available for private rental outside of their operating hours. Fees vary by pool, number of guests, and member status. Security deposit and alcohol fee required.
Submit your permit request on WebTrac. Permits will be approved in the order they are received. Completion of permit and submission of all necessary paperwork is due within 10 days of original permit request and must be at least 7 days in advance of event date.
Refundable security deposit ($100) and proof of homeowners or renters insurance required.
Glade Room
This facility is equipped with chairs to seat 75 people, four tables, restroom facilities, heating and air conditioning. Enjoy nearby facilities such as tennis courts, tot lot and the Glade Pool. Don’t forget your pool & tennis passes. Pool & tennis court access not included in private reservation.
Rental Fees: ($100 security deposit and $20 key deposit required). Available for members and non-members year-round.

Walker Nature Center
Nestled in a 72-acre woodland at the Walker Nature Center, Nature House is a model of ecofriendly design and construction, LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. The Nature Center is the home base of environmental education in Reston as well as an attractive rental space for private events.
Nature House Multi-purpose Room
664 square feet of space, capacity 60 people, seats 40 people with tables and chairs (provided). Parking and restroom access. Overflow parking on Glade Drive.

Non-member or non-Reston not-for-profit fee $75/hr.
For profit/corporate fee $100/hr.
Nature Center Pavilion
576 sq. ft. pavilion with picnic tables and bench seating in a beautiful woodland setting. Parking and restroom access.
RA member fee $35/hr.
Non-member fee $50/hr.
For profit/corporate fee $69/hr.
Fire Ring
Fire pit with bench seating, small pavilion and 4 picnic tables. Roadside parking. No restrooms available at the fire ring location. Must use restroom at Nature House. Renters supply their own wood and water to extinguish the fire.
RA member fee $25/hr.
Non-member fee $35/hr.

Garden Plots

Reston Association' offers the following:
Hunters Woods 1 is off Reston Parkway by the Reston Animal Hospital.
Hunters Woods 2 is off Reston Parkway by Hunters Woods Pool.
Golf Course Island, our largest community garden, is located off North Shore Dr., across from Links Dr. and Golf Course Island pool.
Lake Anne, our oldest location and our only non-organic garden, is located off Wiehle Ave by the Unitarian Church. Even though renters are allowed to use non-organic fertilizers, a lot of gardeners still choose to garden organically.
Cedar Ridge is located next to Forest Edge Elementary School off Becontree Lane.
Plots are charged based on size ranges and are approximately $0.35 per square foot.

Picnic Pavilions
Plan outdoor private parties or weddings, group and corporate gatherings, or family picnics at one of our affordable pavilions. Available for rent seven days a week from April through October. Available for general use from November through March.
Picnic Pavilion rental hours are from dawn to dusk (10 p.m. for lighted facilities).

Reston Association offers parking for Members and Non-Members. Parking can be used for RV’s, trailers, boats and cars.

Secured gate with code entry.
